Near Media wants everyone to be able to read our research, analysis, and podcast content, including people who use assistive technology.

Our standard. We make a best effort to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 at Level AA. We review new content and site changes with accessibility in mind and fix problems as we find them.

Accessibility options. Our site includes the Oksigenia accessibility panel. Click the accessibility button on any page to adjust text size, spacing, and fonts; turn on high contrast, grayscale, or colorblind filters; highlight links; or use a dyslexia-friendly font. The panel collects no personal data.

Podcast transcripts. Near Memo episodes include written transcripts for readers who prefer text or can’t use audio.

Known limitations. Some older content, including captions on earlier videos and descriptions of some charts and images, may not yet fully meet these guidelines. We’re working through it.
